Unlike Tarot or oracles, MAC have nothing to do with divination. They consist of pictures, words, or phrases, varying from slightly to very abstract, that each person interprets in their own way. This individualistic interpretation makes them a great tool for deep self-analysis. RUNIC READINGS
Runes (within coaching and psychological work) operate according to the same principle of projection as metaphorical associative cards. The primary difference lies in the fact that, instead of interpreting images or abstract words, the client works through symbolic archetypal structures.
Each rune represents an archetype containing a core meaning together with an entire field of associated states, principles, existential dynamics and psychological motifs inherent to it.
Unlike MAC, however, runes as a modality possess additional symbolic-ritual and mythopoetic dimensions. Beyond the sphere of psychological projection, they are connected to a far older and broader symbolic tradition, ancestral imagery, mythological language, and the collective symbolic imagination.
For this reason, unlike MAC — which are difficult to imagine outside the setting of a conventional psychological or coaching office — rune work naturally integrates with: ritual elements, meditative states, symbolic environments, immersive practices, sensory-oriented techniques, and complementary modalities such as tea ceremonies, aromatherapy, sound healing, and contemplative atmosphere design.
This makes it possible to organise a session as a deeply immersive symbolic experience or authentic mini-retreat integrating aesthetic, meditative, and mythic elements into a coherent space.
Such work allows the individual to temporarily step outside the overstimulated and hyper-rationalised framework of modern civilisation and enter a more ancient symbolic layer of perception, that is a liminal psychological space in which deeper aspects of the psyche often become significantly more accessible.
